Bookings happen directly between traveler and local guide, not through Journey Junky. Each adventure page links to the guide's own website, email, or WhatsApp. Paying the guide directly is how the price stays low.

Journey Junky aggregates reviews from Yotpo and cross-references local guides against operator listings to surface those with consistent customer feedback. We do not run background checks; we surface what is publicly verifiable.

Can I see reviews before contacting a guide?

Yes. Every adventure page pulls reviews from Yotpo and shows a rating, vote count, and top review quotes alongside the guide's contact details.

How does the AI search work?

Type a natural-language query like "scuba diving in Vietnam under $50" or "family-friendly hikes in Costa Rica" and Journey Junky parses it into structured filters (country, category, price, tags) before querying the adventures database. No login required.

Submit your adventure at journeyjunky.co/forms/adventure. Listing is free with no commission. Once submitted, your adventure is indexed and surfaced in search and destination pages.
